The context

word.tips is a tool for solving word games (Wordle, Scrabble and similar), a market with huge search demand and a lot of competition. As Head of SEO at Cliqpod I led its organic strategy.

The problem

At this volume, SEO is mostly day-to-day operations. A template mistake replicates across hundreds of thousands of URLs in hours. A bad architecture decision can cost millions of visits. And the word-games market rewards whoever answers each search pattern better and faster.

The system

  • Programmatic content done right: thousands of pages generated from data, each built to answer one specific search, with no empty pages.
  • Architecture for scale: URL structure and internal links designed so Google crawls the pages that bring traffic first.
  • Continuous monitoring: per-template performance tracking to catch problems before they grow.

The result

I doubled organic traffic and the site reached peaks of 2 million daily visits, with almost all traffic coming from organic search. What I take to every project is that, at this scale, processes count for more than any single trick.
